Qualifications for application | Having made direct investment in China for successively three years with good records of tax payment; the registered capital invested in China should be up to one of the following qualifications:
1.The investment is over 500,000 US dollars and the invested industry is in the Catalogue of Encouraged Industries;
2.The investment is over 500,000 US dollars and the invested area is in the west region of China and a poverty-stricken county;
3.The investment is over 1 million US dollars when the invested area is in the middle region of China;
4.Tthe investment is over 2 million US dollars in China. |
Documents to submit | a.Three application forms for each applicant, submitted to the local public security bureau of the place the investment is made.
b.The applicant's valid visa or relevant certificate;
c. Health certificate by a health department authorized by Chinese Government or by a foreign health institution authorized by a Chinese embassy or consulate (which is issued within six months before the application.)
d. Certificate for no illegal and criminal record in either China or a foreign country;
d. Four recently taken two-inch half-length, bareheaded and full-faced color photos;
e. Approval Certificate of Foreign-funded Enterprise; Registration Certificate of the Enterprise and the annual check certificates by related administrative departments; the capital verification report (by the government auditing department or related authorized department; taxation payment records in past three years; Project Approval Certificate when the enterprise is in the Catalogue of Encouraged Industries.
f. Documents to be submitted by the applicant for his/her spouse or a child under 18: Marriage Certificate; Birth Certificate or certificate of parent-child relation; In case the applicant is an adopted child, he/she has to submit the certificate of adoption, or a certificate proved by a Chinese embassy or consulate.
Note: The west region of China refer to: Inner Mongolia, Guangxi, Sichuan, Chongqing, Guizhou, Yunnan, Shaanxi, Gansu, Qinghai, Ningxia, Xinjiang, Xizang and others approved by the State Council; The middle region of China refer to: Beijing, Tianjin, Hebei, Liaoning, Shanghai, Jiangsu, Zhejiang, Fujian, Shandong, Guangdong, and Hainan; The poverty-stricken counties refer to the 52 counties appointed by the State Council and the whole of Xizang. |
