Qualifications for application

The applicant has made great contributions to China.

Documents to submit

a. Three application forms for each applicant, submitted by the applicant to the local public security bureau;
b. The applicant's valid visa or relevant certificate;
c. Four recently taken two-inch half-length, bareheaded and full-faced color photos;
c. Documents to submit: related certificates of letter of recommendation by administrative departments of the Chinese government.   
e. Documents to be submitted by the applicant for his/her spouse or a child under 18: Marriage Certificate; Birth Certificate or certificate of parent-child relation; In case the applicant is an adopted child, he/she has to submit the certificate of adoption, or a certificate proved by a Chinese embassy or consulate.
Note: The persons who have made great and outstanding contributions to China refer to those who are world-level talents or celebrities and have made great and outstanding contributions to the national economy and social progress of China, including the world-famous science prize winners, scholars, entrepreneurs, sportsmen, and artists.
