Qualifications for application

The applicant is under 18 years of age, single, and has parents in China.

Documents to submit

a.Three application forms for each applicant, submitted by the parents of the applicant or the trustee with the parents’ engagement letter, to the local public security;
b. certificate;
c. Four recently taken two-inch half-length, bareheaded and full-faced color photos;

d. The Chinese parents’ residence certificate or the foreign parents’ Certificate for Permanent Residence of a Foreign Citizen; The applicant’s birth certificate of the parents-child certificate; In case the applicant is an adopted child, he/she has to submit the certificate of adoption,  (a certificate by a foreign institution should be proved by a Chinese embassy or consulate.) Such a certificate includes: a certificate of adoption issued by a provincial-level the department of civil affairs of China, a certificate of adoption issued by a foreign institution that is proved by a Chinese embassy or consulate; a notarial certificate of adoption by an authorized public notary of Hong Kong Special Administrative Region; a notarial certificate of adoption by an authorized public notary of Macao Special Administrative Region; a notarial certificate of adoption by an authorized public notary of Taiwan
