Qualifications for application

The applicant is deputy general manager, deputy factory manager or of above post, or with academic title of associate professor, associate researcher or of above titles, has had the post or title for at least four years  and has had good records in taxation; The institution that the applicant is working for is one of the following:

a.Department of the State Council,a department of a provincial-level people’s government;

b.A key higher education institution; an enterprise or a government department engaged in a key national project;

c.A high-tech enterprise, a foreign-funded enterprise engaged in an industry encouraged by the government;

d.A foreign-funded enterprise with advanced technology or a foreign-funded enterprise for export.

Documents to submit

a.Three application forms for each applicant, submitted by the applicant or the trustee of the applicant to the local public security bureau;
b.The applicant's valid visa or relevant certificate;
c.Health certificate by a health department authorized by Chinese Government or by a foreign health institution authorized by a Chinese embassy or consulate (which is issued within six months before the application.)
d.Certificate for no illegal and criminal record in either China or a foreign country ;
e.Four recently taken two-inch half-length, bareheaded and full-faced color photos;
f.Certificate of the post or academic title by the employer; Certificate of Foreign Expert or Employment Permit of a Foreigner; Registration Certificate of the Employer, the Annual Registration Certificate of the Employer, taxation payment records in past four years; in case the employer is a foreign-funded enterprise, the Approval Certificate of Foreign-funded Enterprises and Annual Check Certificates by related government departments; certificate by authorized provincial or ministerial department in case the employer is an enterprise or a government department engaged in a key national project; certificate of a high-tech enterprise when the employer is a high-tech enterprise; related certificates when the employer is a foreign-funded enterprise engaged in an industry encouraged by the government, or a foreign-funded enterprise with advanced technology or a foreign-funded enterprise for export.
g.Documents to be submitted by the applicant for his/her spouse or a child under 18: Marriage Certificate; Birth Certificate or certificate of parent-child relation; In case the applicant is an adopted child, he/she has to submit the certificate of adoption, or a certificate proved by a Chinese embassy or consulate; or a certificate proved by a Chinese embassy or consulate.
