Cixi District, located at south bank of Hangzhou Bay, east edged by urban Ningbo, connected with city of Yuyao by south-west, and separated from Shanghai just by sea, lies in center area of the Golden Economic Hu-hang-yong Triangle, total area covering 1361 km with 78.5 km of coastline northerly, and a population of 1.056 million.
