Yinzhou District covers an area of 1,380 square kilometers with a population of 730,000. The whole area in the shape of a dancing butterfly is the largest and strongest among the districts under the city's jurisdiction. Yinzhou Industrial Zone, Mingzhou Industrial Zone and Wangchun Industrial Zone respectively situated in the east, south and west of the district make of the three major strategic blocks for the industrial economy development in Yinzhou District. With a total planned area reaching 130 sq.km., the industrial zones provide expansive back land and strong support to a new round of sustainable development in Yinzhou District.
