Located at the east part of Xiangshan Peninsula, Xiangshan County has 608 coastal islands, a land area of 1,175 km2, a coastline of 800km; a population of 530,000.  Xiangshan has subtropical monsoon climate, four distinct seasons with mild climate. The air quality in Xiangshan is excellent, up to the first class standard.
