Dayin is one of the important stone mining areas in eastern Zhejiang, and it is said that stone has been extracted since the Han Dynasty, which continues to this day. Because of the good texture and wide applicability of the stone produced, it is widely used in Ningshao area, called "Dayin stone". Since the Ming Dynasty, Changmeishan Stone Cave stretches for about 2 kilometers from east to west, consisting of Yingjie Cave, Hejian Cave, Jiucenglou Cave and Bianfu Cave. Traces of excavated stones on the surface of abandoned quarrying remains are clearly visible. The ancient stone ruins and the temple of the mountain king are witnesses of the Dayin Culture, and the dynamic and static states reflect the history of the Dayin Stone Production and Transportation Industry.
