Located in Longguan Town, Haishu District, Ningbo, Wulongtan Scenic Resort is the nearest eco-tourism spot away from Ningbo downtown areas. In line with the Overall Planning of Ningbo Wulongtan Scenic Resort approved by the local government, the 16.17-sqaure-kilometers tourist attraction is divided into four distinct areas, i.e., Tianjinao Folk Culture Exploration Area, Longtan Cascade Sightseeing Area, Guandin Lake Recreation Area and Longdin Mountain Recuperation Area. Boasting magnificent natural scenery which consists of streams, cascades, rocks and steep hills, the scenic resort showcases Chinese dragon culture, unique characteristics of mountainous areas in east Zhejiang as well as the local customs. Since it was developed in 2000, it has enjoyed great fame in the public, given honors such as the national 4A tourist attraction, the provincial-level scenic resort and the eco-friendly tourist attraction of Ningbo.
