The exhibition paints an artistic panorama of Qing court life, inviting visitors into a world of ritual and auspicious symbolism.

Monet’s Poetry: A Dialogue between Eastern and Western Aesthetics from Chicago to the Three Rivers Estuary
Centered on the theme of "East-West Mutual Inspiration," this exhibition uses "dialogue" as its guiding thread to showcase over 60 exquisite works (sets) from the collections of Ningbo Museum and the Art Institute of Chicago. It juxtaposes Chinese ceramics, Buddhist statues, calligraphy, and paintings with European glassware, sculptures, and prints, creating a cross-temporal and cross-regional conversation between civilizations. The exhibition explores the similarities and differences in artistic creation across different historical periods and cultural contexts.

Lectures
The Book of Changes and Human Settlements
Speaker: Zhang Dianfa, Researcher at the Chinese Academy of Sciences, Professor at Ningbo University, Director of the Human Settlements Research Institute, and featured expert on CCTV-10’s science programs. He specializes in the study of the Book of Changes and human settlements, exploring the scientific dimensions of traditional Chinese geomancy. He has led three National Natural Science Foundation projects and published over 50 academic papers. His forthcoming book, Exploring and Inheriting the Wisdom of Traditional Chinese Human Settlements, is set for release by the end of this year.
