A Lucky Iron: The Past and Present of an Iron
With about 90 pieces of precious exhibits, this special exhibition serves as a detailed introduction of the past and present of the iron. There are three sections: the invention of the iron, the decorations of the iron and the evolution of the iron. In a chronological order, the exhibition presents the development of the iron from the earliest carbon-fueled copper irons to the later ship-shaped irons and electric irons influenced by Western styles, providing a detailed analysis of their evolution in craftsmanship, design, functionality, and aesthetic appeal

Musical: Daddy Long Legs
Jerusha, who grew up in an orphanage, received a scholarship to university for her exceptional writing talent from Mr. Smith, a trustee of the orphanage. In her monthly letters, she referred to him as “Daddy Long Legs”. Later, Jerusha became acquainted with uncle Jervis of Julia, a roommate of hers, and the two grew closer. Between “Daddy Long Legs” and Jervis, a long-buried secret gradually came to light.

Lecture: Modern Photography in Shanghai
By Gu Zheng, a professor from the School of Journalism, Fudan University. He once served as a final judge for the 56th World News Photography Competition, was a visiting scholar at Harvard from 2017 to 2018, and worked as the artistic director of Jimei-Arles International Photography Festival in 2020, 2021 and 2022. He has published several monographs and planned and organized some contemporary photography and art exhibitions both domestically and internationally.
