A Lucky Iron: The Past and Present of an Iron
The iron, as a practical tool for ironing clothes, which originated in the Shang and Zhou dynasties and flourished during the Han and Tang dynasties, has been a typical item among all the traditional daily-use items. This special exhibition serves as a detailed introduction of the past and present of the iron, with physical objects and textual descriptions. Meanwhile, the exhibition aims to bring “luck” to visitors in the new year, just as is displayed in its theme.
