Early July marks the beginning of the bustling harvest season for the renowned “honey peaches” of Huchen Town in Ninghai County. Across nearly 10,000 mu (approximately 1,647 acres) of orchards, local farmers are busy picking and sorting the fresh fruit to meet market demand. In villages like Dalai, the orchards are alive with activity. The current yield is estimated at 1,000 kilograms per mu, and the total output value for the town’s entire honey peach crop this year is projected to approach 100 million yuan (about $13.7 million).
