(Photo by Chen Jiesheng) Primary and middle school students across Ningbo have officially kicked off their first-ever spring break today. By the afternoon of April 27, the Ningbo Railway Station was already bustling with an early wave of holiday traffic. The waiting halls were packed, with students and their parents making up the vast majority of the eager travelers. This inaugural spring break spans three days, from April 28 to 30. When combined with the upcoming International Labor Day (May Day) holiday, it gives families an extended eight-day vacation. Many are seizing this golden opportunity to beat the holiday rush, embarking on off-peak vacations or heading home early for family reunions, which has fueled a massive surge in pre-holiday travel demand. |
