Recently, the Rujiang Road Bridge across the Shanjiang River in Fenghua reached a key milestone—the installation of suspender cables for the entire bridge has commenced. It is reported that the project, which includes the bridge and its connecting roads, starts from the Yonglin Line in Dongqiao Town, Haishu District, in the west and ends at Binjiang Road in Fangqiao Subdistrict, Fenghua District, in the east, with a total length of approximately 900 meters. The main bridge adopts a through-girder composite beam network arch bridge with suspenders, featuring a main span of 238 meters—a new record for the span of municipal bridges of the same type currently under construction in Zhejiang Province. Construction crews are now fully advancing the installation of the bridge's suspender cables, with the work scheduled for completion by the end of August.
