2026 Ningbo Rural Tourism Season kicks off

The launch ceremony of the 2026 Ningbo Rural Tourism Season, as well as the release ceremony of the “Desirable Villages” micro-vacation new scenarios will be held in the Qiaotou Town of Xiangshan County, when the high-quality rural tourism routes will be released, together with the list of new internet-famous products, the “Village Cafe Plan”, and the “36 Strategies for Promoting Rural Tourism in Ningbo” .

Live show of classic Yue Opera plays

The show will bring together renowned performers from the top ten schools of Yue Opera and 10 Meihua Award winners on the stage, to perform the classic select scenes of plays to celebrate the 120th anniversary of the birth of Yue Opera.

The familiar melody in the concert is not only the growth of Zheng Runze Karma, but also the journey of youth shared by the Generation Z: the exploration in confused nights, the perseverance despite pressure, and the desire for freedom at the bottom of heart.

Ancient Sounds: Archaeological Achievements of the Wenxi Site of Zhenhai District

The exhibition, with about 300 pieces (sets/groups) of artifacts, consists of three main chapters: “Neolithic Age”, “Bronze Age”, and “Great Unification Age”. With archaeological achievements as the core, supplemented by graphic and textual exhibition boards, scene restoration, and multimedia methods, the exhibition will systematically present the cultural development of Wenxi Site from the Neolithic Age to the Ming and Qing dynasties, enabling the visitors to appreciate the rich and colorful life scenes and development process of the ancestors in the coastal area.

Lecture: Emotions in Wu Wenying’s Ci poetry

By Qian Xisheng, a Doctor of Literature, professor of the School of Humanity, Soochow University, visiting professor of Suzhou City University, and executive director of China Ci Poetry Society. He is the author of “On the Spread of Tang and Song Ci Poetry” and “Buqizhai Collection of Essays on the Study of Ci Poetry”. He is also the chief editor of such works as “Previous Poetic Elements in Tang and Song Ci Poetry”, “Tang and Song Ci Poetic Influence on Poets of Later Dynasties”, and “Ci Poetry Studies and the Heart of Poetry”.
